Taste
Fruity, Supple red fruits
Aroma
Cranberry and red cherry, Richly fruited
Description
With its delicate salmon-pink colour, this lovely rosé has one foot firmly in the Provence camp. A beautifully judged southern French blend with a touch of Muscat, it is soft, elegant and lightly aromatic, with a smooth, supple mouthfeel. Red berry fruit comes through clearly, while fresh, crisp acidity keeps everything lifted and beautifully balanced. A rosé with real flair and finesse, and one that is very easy to like.

About the Estate
Chateau Rousett is located up in the hills of ‘Alpes de Haute Provence’ and has been run by the same family since 1825. The estate and Château have quite a history, from silkworms, to sheep farm and then in the 1950s vines were planted thank goodness! The vines have been organic for over five years now, and this, coupled with their special and unique location on the geologically significant Valensole plateau, helps them to make stunningly expressive wines. Varietals that flourish in the lower Rhône and Provence are focused on, including Viognier, Syrah and Vermentino.
