A southern French AOP made from a blend of grapes from the finest plots of Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Mourvèdre. Maceration of these grapes lasts for a lengthy 25 to 30 days and there is no oak ageing used, which is reflected in this rich, elegant and concentrated wine that boasts fruit and spice characters whilst also offering up lovely scents of the surrounding garrigue.

Her father started with organic growing at their Montmija estate in Corbieres some 35 years ago, and Vintage Roots have indeed listed the Corbieres some years back. Since then, the company has expanded to neighbouring regions, encouraging local growers to go organic and supply grapes that meet their high standards.
