From Limoux and a natural red partner to the award-winning Arrogant Frog Chardonnay, this Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot is all about ripe fruit and easy balance. Cabernet-led, it shows blackcurrant and red berry fruit with a touch of peppery spice, leading into a smooth, well-balanced palate with good depth and soft tannins. Approachable, dependable and full of easy charm, it’s a versatile Southern French red for relaxed drinking.

About the Estate
Domaines Paul Mas is one of the great names of the Languedoc, combining deep regional heritage with Jean-Claude Mas’ modern, expressive winemaking style. Based near Pézenas, the family-owned estate works across a remarkable range of southern French terroirs, producing wines that are polished, generous and full of character. We work with Jean-Claude on a small but distinctive part of the wider portfolio, including biodynamically managed Mas des Tannes, organically farmed Arrogant Frog from Limoux and Cuvée Secrète – a no-added-sulphur blend that gives a particularly pure expression of Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
