Lifted and aromatic, with orange blossom and citrus
Description
Vignobles Guiraud’s Orange Spritz Brut is a playful sparkling orange wine from southern France, made from aromatic Gewurztraminer with a short period of skin contact to give its naturally amber-orange hue. Fresh, lightly sparkling and aromatic, it nods to the spritz style with notes of orange zest, rose petal and citrus, balanced by a crisp, refreshing finish. Serve well chilled as an aperitif, or pour with olives, salted nuts, tapas, snacks or light summer dishes. A fun, modern bottle for anyone looking for something a little different that’s somewhere between orange wine, fizz and an easy summer aperitif.
About the Estate
Vignobles Guiraud is based at Domaine de Valescure in Aimargues, in the Gard region of southern France, close to the Petite Camargue and Mediterranean coast. The estate has farmed organically since 1997, working with vineyards in a way that respects the vines and their surrounding environment. Today, Vignobles Guiraud is known for fresh, modern organic wines, including IGP Pays d’Oc, IGP Gard and Sable de Camargue styles, with a particular focus on characterful, low-intervention organic wines.
