Parra Jiménez AOVE Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a beautifully fresh organic and biodynamic olive oil from La Mancha, Spain, made from 100% Picual olives grown in high-altitude groves. The olives are processed quickly after harvest to preserve their natural freshness, giving a clean, elegant oil with green fruit character, a light peppery finish and a cooler, more delicate style than many richer Spanish oils. Brilliant for dressings, salads, vegetables, pasta, dipping with bread or finishing simple dishes at the table.
About the Estate
Certified organic since 1995, the Parra family’s pursuit came from the devotion of the three brothers Francisco, Javier and Luis, who founded their La Mancha property with the conviction to organically and biodynamically farm every vine under their care. The Parra family works two large vineyards in La Mancha, near the town of Las Mesas (The Tables) in central Spain, totalling 180 hectares. Delivering clean, honest wines grown in harmony with the land, Parra Jiminez wines are always good value and a natural wine lover’s hidden gem.
