There’s plenty of juicy character here, from Bodegas Piqueras’ old-vine Garnacha and the bold, no added sulphur Carta Roja Pura Monastrell, to the smooth Emiliana Adobe Merlot Reserva. Maison Plantevin Côtes du Rhône and Mas de Longchamp Rouge add classic southern French warmth and spice, while Domaine Bousquet Malbec brings ripe dark fruit and a little depth to the mix. A well-priced case full of character, ideal for suppers, sharing and easy evenings in.
