‘Tis the gift-giving season, and if you’re looking for a unique gift for that someone special then look no further! For all tastes and budgets, there’s surely something for you.
Why gift someone organic wines or drinks?
Organic wines are the way to go if you’re looking for an environmentally friendly yet high-quality and tasty gift choice. Organic wines are made from grapes that aren’t sprayed with synthetic pesticides, which means they’re a greener choice on so many levels. Likewise for organic spirits, liqueurs, ports, ciders, beers and more! Also as consumable product it can be drunk and enjoyed versus something that may just end up gathering dust or being forgotten about.
Having your wine gift boxed and including a personal message
If you’d like us to send out your Christmas gift for you, we can do that and include a personal message on a handwritten card. Just select ‘yes’ for the gift order at checkout and include an optional message. Most of our wines can also be boxed as well, you can just add one of our wooden gift boxes at checkout – these are available for a single bottle of wine, two bottles of wine, three bottles of wine or magnums. Three quick tips for choosing your gift
- First: Set a budget of course. It’s the simplest way to avoid overwhelm and narrow your choices down.
- Second: Think about what your special person actually drinks. Are they loyal to Sauvignon Blanc? Hopelessly smitten with French reds? Those little patterns are gold – they point you straight toward something they’ll truly enjoy.
- Third: Always remember that it’s the thought that counts and the magic is in the gesture. The choosing, the anticipating, the “this made me think of you” moment… it should be every bit as enjoyable as the gift itself.

Wintry Red, White & Rosé Gift Ideas
Starting with the whites is Domaine de la Verpaille’s Viré-Clessé ‘Harmonie’, which is part of our Festive Offers this year. From one of the Mâcon’s top villages, this Burgundy Chardonnay delivers silky richness and fresh mineral finesse – pure Viré-Clessé elegance.
We all know someone who loves a New Zealand Sauvignon, and you really can’t go with Walnut Block’s Nutcracker Sauvignon Blanc, a richly textured Sauvignon has an impressive array of ripe citrus and fruit notes.

For a delicious (and more affordable) dessert wine, go for the new Petit Guiraud. A fresh, modern take on the classic Sauternes style, it was born of the desire to produce a contemporary sweet wine that’s both accessible and light.
