Domaine Nicolas Brunet

Domaine Nicolas Brunet is a small, quality-focused estate in Vouvray, in the Loire Valley, where the Brunet family has been growing vines for nine generations. The domaine works with around 17 hectares of Chenin Blanc vines on Vouvray’s classic clay-limestone and flint-rich soils, with harvesting carried out by hand. Nicolas Brunet farms with a strong respect for the vine and the environment, using practices that limit treatments, avoid weedkillers and encourage healthy soils. Much of the estate is certified organic from the 2023 vintage onwards, and the wines are made with indigenous yeasts in traditional troglodyte cellars carved into the local tuffeau limestone. The result is expressive, characterful Vouvray with freshness, texture and a clear sense of place.
