This beautifully expressive sparkling wine is crafted from a biodynamically farmed blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir grown on the chalky slopes of Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire. Pale salmon-pink in hue, it opens with an inviting bouquet of fresh strawberries, redcurrants and wild raspberry, layered with subtle hints of chalky minerality and light toasty notes from extended lees ageing. On the palate, it offers a vibrant medley of red berry flavours with a touch of redcurrant jelly, balanced by a creamy texture and fine mousse and lifted by bright acidity and a whisper of biscuit and vanilla complexity. With its Demeter-certified biodynamic roots and commitment to sustainable viticulture, this vintage rosé is both elegant and grounded, making it a refined choice for celebrations or thoughtful food pairings.
Laverstoke Park Farm is spread over 2,500 acres of rolling Hampshire countryside near Overton. It is owned and run by ex-racing driver and Formula One World Champion Jody Scheckter. He wanted to create a biodynamic farming environment that would follow nature as closely as possible, combining 21st century science, together with the most environmentally friendly farming methods available. We are proud to be listing his top-quality vintage sparklers.
Superb... a super nice treat and to me this sparkler is a prime example of how high quality English wine can be. On the nose it's very similar to Champagne, in flavour on the drier side yet soft and fruity. Loved it!
