Description

Celebrating the lost style of Speyside whisky, this Scotch Single Malt is golden brown in colour with a strong oak influence. UK Soil Association accredited from start to finish, Benromach Organic is made with organic Scottish barley and matured in virgin American Oak casks for nine years. The nose reveals sweet, charred oak aromas and sweet malty notes leading to a rich palate of creamy spice, butterscotch, coffee and cocoa flavours.

About the Estate

Founded in 1898, this imposing distillery lay silent and empty for a number of years and suffered many closures and changes in ownership prior to 1993, when malt whisky specialists, Gordon & MacPhail, rescued it. They set about an extensive re-installation project and reopened in 1998, signalling the rediscovery of a lost style of Speyside single malt.
