Our First B Corp Impact Report
Back in September 2024, Vintage Roots was officially recognised as a certified B Corp.
Becoming a B Corp means meeting some of the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance – a challenge that pushed us to introduce new systems to measure and record data across every part of our business: from suppliers and customers to employees, stakeholders and operations.
In short, everything we do – and how we do it – is assessed and held to account on an ongoing basis across the main B Corp tiers of governence, the environment, workers and community.
We didn’t have to pursue certification (it’s voluntary). But we wanted to prove that we can run our business to the highest standards and balance profit with purpose.
As part of our commitment, we now publish an annual B Corp Impact Report. This report summarises our performance and goals across key B Corp areas, offering transparency about where we stand today and how we plan to improve.
This Impact Report is a tool for accountability, but also for reflection and a way to track progress and ensure we continue our journey of continuous improvement.
For almost 40 years we’ve always tried to source high-quality (organic) products, treat our employees well, and give back to our communities and chosen charities. Yes, we’re a business and must be sustainable financially – but our purpose remains the same:
To bring you quality organic drinks that are fine on the palate, kind to the planet and fair on the pocket.
We’re also proud to work with producers who share this commitment – including those who are themselves B Corp certified. You can explore those products here.
We’re proud to share our first B Corp Impact Report, and we hope you’ll enjoy reading it.
